Plantronics sets up tech support centre in India

., lightweight communication headsets provider, announced new initiatives

to its customers in India with a first rate after sales experience with

Plantronics' products.






The company inaugurated a Technical Support Centre in New Delhi, and appointed
Cadenceworth, the services arm of Redington India as its service and support

partner. In addition, the company announced a replacement program to provide its

customers with an after-sales service experience under the warranty period.






Commenting on the announcement, Bobby Joseph, Country Manager, Plantronics BV
said, “We have set up the India service centre to ensure that the thousands of

users who rely on our products everyday — have easy access to help when they

need it.”






In India, the company provides products for three segments — contact centre,
where its offerings comprise wired and wireless headsets for agents as well as

management; enterprise, where it provides Bluetooth, wireless and wired headsets

for business professionals; and retail, which includes mobile and computer

headsets.






Plantronics products are sold and supported through a countrywide network of
authorised distributors and solution providers including Avaya GlobalConnect

Limited, 3D Networks, Mach Communications, Wipro Infotech and True BlueVoice Pvt

Ltd.
