PIO TV to be available on mobiles

NEW DELHI, INDIA: PIO TV, India's first digital integrated media platform will be soon available on mobiles. The television company has tied-up with Airchord Ventures to offer the service on mobiles.

Disclosing this to CyberMedia News, Munish Gupta, chairman and CEO of PIO TV said that the company had assigned a distribution agreement with Airchord Televentures for this purpose.

“Airchord Televentures will distribute the live television stream of pioTV as well as select content from www.piotv.com to cellular and mobile users in India and overseas. Airchord product enables content providers to provide multimedia service through Airchord distribution to mobile operators and onwards to mobile end-users on various handsets,” he informed.

PIO TV had already tested the service on mobiles on Verizon subscribers for people of Indian origin living in US. The company had then streamed DD’s News channels for Verizon mobile subscribers.
