Pickering Interfaces to feature RF and microwave switching solutions at DesignCon2014

SANTA CLARA, USA: Pickering Interfaces' RF and Microwave switching solutions can be used to increase the flexibility of Test and Measurement systems with signal bandwidths up to 65GHz. Configurations available within our PXI and LXI platforms include multiplexers, matrices and general purpose switches.

Pickering will be showcasing the following configurations:

PXI Microwave Multiplexers (40-784A) - Supports 4-way or 6-way multiplexers in single, dual or triple formats. They are characterized for 6GHz, 18GHz, 26.5GHz, or 40GHz and have excellent performance throughout their frequency range. All models occupy just two 3U PXI slots and single and dual multiplexer versions feature LEDs that indicate which path is active.

LXI Microwave Multiplexers (60-800) - this multiplexer has bandwidth available from 18GHz through 40GHz with a 50 ohm characteristic impedance. It has the capability of supporting up to 16 banks of 6 channel multiplexers it is ideal for constructing complex microwave switching systems for many applications.

PXI 6GHz Solid State RF Switch Modules (40-88X) - these versions include an SP8T (8:1) MUX occupying two PXI slots and an SP16T (16:1) MUX occupying three PXI slots. Each version uses solid state switches that ensure fast switch operation time of 50µs, very repeatable performance and an indefinite service life when used within ratings.

LXI Wideband Modular RF Matrix (65-110) - this is a new scalable matrix providing 200MHz bandwidth with 8 Y or 16 Y connections and up to 104 X connections.
