Phone: Features woo women, prices put off men

BANGALORE, INDIA: Women, otherwise considered economical, tend to be more technical when it comes to buying phones. Before turning up the price tag of a phone, they check out the features that would impress them to buy it.

According to a survey by mobile video service Vuclip, only 18 pc of women said price was their biggest concern against 33 pc men. And a large number of 37 pc of women said they would first look for features while the percentage among men was 31 pc, according to a TechCrunch blog.

This apart, the survey also asked the respondents which brand they expect their next device to be, and surprisingly, the most popular response was Nokia at 37 pc followed by Apple with 25 pc. Vuclip had received 560,000 responses in total
