Philips handsets launched in Orissa

BHUBANESHWAR: Philips India Ltd, a subsidiary of Netherlands based Royal Philips electronics, has launched its mobile handset 'Philips 755' in Orissa.





Informing this, the company's business manager of its wireless division, eastern zone Prosenjit Sen added that the handset is priced at Rs 10,990 and features a 65k color touch screen with built-in digital camera with zoom function.





"The mobile is capable of sending mail with picture, voice and music apart from its wireless voice communication use. The 4X zoom camera with a night function even allows capturing still photos even under low lighting conditions," Sen added.



The phone has a 7MB storage capacity that can also store up to 1,000 images. Besides, there is also an option to create and display a picture slide show.
