Perot Systems expands India operations

CHENNAI, INDIA: Perot Systems Corporation, a provider of information technology services and business solutions, announced that it would add a 23,617 square-foot facility to its Chennai campus by the end of March.

The new 353-seated unit, which is a part of DLF IT SEZ, would handle the company's BPO operations across three shifts at its opening, bringing the company's total India-based employees to over 7,000.

Vardhman Jain, managing director, insurance and business process solutions group, Perot Systems, said: "The new service will cater to the needs of processing highly complex and knowledge intensive, high-volume, high-value transactions for our healthcare provider, healthcare payer, life insurance and F&A clients across the world,."

Anurag Jain, managing director, Perot Systems Asia Pacific, said, "Our new facility will help us meet the growing client demand worldwide for efficient delivery of high-quality services that integrate our IT and BPO best practices."
