Pentafour Comm bags CAD service order from Eaton

CHENNAI, August 25: Chennai-based Pentafour

Communications Ltd.’s CAD/CAM division or 3CRC announced that it has

bagged a major CAD Services order from the global automobile giant, Eaton

Corporation of USA.

"This project deals with developing a system

through which Eaton and their customer Chrysler Motors can exchange their

data," said Pentafour General Manager and Head of 3CRC A.S.

Ramaseshan. "This project is on Catia and Pro/Engineer CAD platforms

and involves data conversion and product data management. Through this, we

help our customer, Eaton Corp, optimize their investment in IT and help

them gain a competitive edge in the market," he added. This project

will be undertaken in the Bangalore-3CRC development facility.

"Eaton gave us this order because of our high-level

of understanding of engineering design methodologies and quality

procedures," said Pentafour Communications Director K. Srinivasan.

3CRC, an SBU of Pentafour Communications, specializes in

offering consulting solution in the areas of CAD/CAM, GIS and Multimedia.
