Pearson India has launched a digital library, providing institutes, teachers and learners with a vast range of e-book collection and digital content across multiple disciplines.
This comes after the company commits to support the Digital India initiative and NEP 2020’s aim to enhance the accessibility of e-content and digital libraries across the country.
“Digital library, is a testament to our commitment of supporting the govt. in their mission and providing learners with the most affordable, flexible and student friendly e-text solutions,” Rajesh Pankajakshan, director, product, Pearson India, said.
The digital library includes
- 4000+ titles and precise quality content
- In built analytics for informed decision making
- UI/UX for enhanced learning experience
- Easy LMS Integration & single-sign-in access
- Access on multiple devices: laptop, mobile, desktop
- Quick Revision tools: voice notes, highlights, hyperlinks, weblinks
It also aims to enhance the higher education learning ecosystem by offering precise quality content using built-in analytics which will help learners to see their usage and teachers and institutes to track the student progress.
Easy learning management system (LMS) integration for institutes will give the benefit of single-sign-on access for students and teachers, which means that they can access the products with a single credential into the college system, instead of needing a separate login. Based on a subscription model on the cloud and IP, it will help institutes to drive cost efficiencies by moving to digital and saving significantly on physical infrastructure.
