Pearson intros tablet for school children

Pearson, a leading education group, has forayed into ever expanding table market with a new new tablet-based education solution.

The MX Touch platform promises effective personalized and collaborative digital learning experience with rich digital content, 3D animations, quizzes and videos.

With built in applications, the MX Touch allows parents to monitor the academic progress of their children more accurately than ever before with easy access to assignments, difficult lessons covered during school hours and archived assessments and tests.

MX Touch variants are available in 7 and 10 inch tablets from our preferred tablet manufacturers. The 7 inch tablet comes with a price tag of Rs. 7000, while the 10inch bundled pack will cost Rs. 12000 (approx).

The product was launched in Bangalore, India by Genevieve Shore - Chief Information Officer and Director of Digital Strategy for Pearson, along with Anil Kumble, iconic cricketer, who has a long standing association with the company.

MX Touch is available in three versions: Active Touch, DigitALly, Ultimate. The three versions are packed with different sections, subjects and applications, according to the grades and mode of teaching.
