Patni appoints Vijay Khare as CAO

MUMBAI: Patni Computer Systems Ltd., an IT consulting and services provider, today announced the appointment of Vijay Khare as chief administrative officer (CAO).

The company said in a statement that the newly-created CAO's office will be a major catalyst in improving its operating performance and creating a scalable backbone to sustain its operations and growth in the future.

In his role as the CAO, Khare will be responsible for the creation, measurement, control and improvement of key operating unit level and cross-functional processes at Patni.

To support the CAO, Dr. Nirmal Jain has been inducted to the CAO's office. Dr. Jain joins Patni with 30 years of experience in the software Industry with a six year stint as the CEO of Tata Infotech.
