BANGALORE: Prakash Parthasarathy has been appointed as the chief investment officer of Azim Premji Investments (API).
Parthasarathy, who joins API from iGATE Global Solutions, replaces Mrinimoy Das.
Das, the first chief investment officer of API, left less than a year after joining.
API manages Wipro chairman Azim Premji’s non-Wipro portfolio, which is pegged at around Rs 1500 crore, excluding Premji’s 82 per cent stockholding in the IT company.
Parthasarathy is a computer engineer from BITS Pilani and has an MBA from IIM-B.
