Pankaj Sharma to head APC-MGE India

BANGALORE, INDIA: APC-MGE, critical power and cooling services business unit of Schneider Electric, today announced the appointment of Pankaj Sharma as president, APC-MGE- India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

He would report to David Plumer, who was recently appointed as senior vice president APC-MGE and president of Asia Pacific and Japan for APC-MGE.

In his new role he would be responsible in maintaining leadership in the power protection market, building a team of professionals who can deliver value to the customers consistently, further strengthening solutions in the Enterprise space and most importantly establishing APC-MGE as a leading global provider of critical power and cooling services.

“We are delighted to have Pankaj leading APC-MGE’s business in India. Pankaj will continue to foster open and ongoing communication with our local stakeholders, in particular our customers, partners and employees, supporting their needs from the desktop to the data center to the factory floor.”

Earlier, Pankaj was the APC country general manager, ISB region, for three years. He also worked as country service manager at APC for three and a half years.
