Pankaj Dhume named GM of BMC Software India

SINGAPORE: BMC Software recently announced that Pankaj Dhume will be the general manager of BMC Software India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of BMC Software, Inc.

"Pankaj has a long history of demonstrated excellence and leadership with BMC," said Bob Beauchamp, BMC's president and chief executive officer. "His reputation for delivering growth and results in multi-cultural global operations makes him the right person to lead BMC in India."

Dhume will be responsible for all BMC operations in the region, including management of the company's R&D, marketing, back office and shared services organizations. BMC employs more than 1,000 employees at its two locations in Pune and Bangalore in India. Dhume also leads the company's global off-shoring & outsourcing efforts.
