BANGALORE, INDIA: Pangea3, the global leader in legal process outsourcing to U.S., European and Japanese corporations and law firms, announced the opening of a 16,000 square foot facility in the Andheri district of Mumbai, India. This is in-line with Pangea3’s aggressive expansion and recruitment plans post the $7 million funding by Sequoia Capital.

Located in the prestigious Leela Business Park opposite the Leela Kapinski Hotel, the new state-of-the-art facility can house 250 attorneys, scientists, engineers and other professionals, including segments of the litigation, corporate and intellectual property divisions. This marks the third Pangea3 office in Mumbai and the fifth office for the company worldwide increasing its total seat capacity to 475 with 400 in Mumbai, 50 in Delhi and 15 in New York City.

“This is a very exciting time for Pangea3,” said Sanjay Kamlani, co-CEO and co-founder of Pangea3.  “We designed this new facility to comply with all ISO 27001 certification requirements as well as to comply with the strictest privacy and security standards of our Wall Street investment banking clients and certain highly sensitive Fortune 500 corporate clients.”   With a primary focus on its litigation division, the facility contains 5 separate biometrically secure eDiscovery rooms ranging from 20 to 50 seats each.  In addition the facility’s state-of-the-art Network Critical Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) with ISMS and ITIL compliance provides fully redundant disaster recovery and backup capabilities with our Churchgate facility data-center.

“Apart from the availability of a large floor plate and a grade A property to facilitate our scale and security objectives, opting for Andheri as a location is a strategic decision aligned with our plan to broaden our employee base. Andheri gives us an enormous opportunity to tap the large talent pool of lawyers and engineers present in the western suburbs,” adds Kamlani.  “Furthermore, we built this facility to offer our lawyers and engineers the world-class facility they deserve not only from the standpoint of providing them with a professional work space but also providing them with entertainment and lounging areas that make our people truly enjoy their work life.”
