Panduit to increase presence through alliances

BANGALORE: Panduit Corporation is looking forward to add new strategic alliance partners shortly. The company, which has APC and Cisco as its strategic partners, is holding talks with many more to add them to its alliance. The company as part of its strategic alliance has already signed up a marketing-cum-R&D pact with APC and Cisco through which they provide services for each other’s companies.



According to Prasad L, Country Sales Manager, Panduit Corporation, "We are on the verge of adding new alliance partners globally and are holding talks with some of them and they are expected to be part of our global alliance shortly".



He informed that as part of the alliance all partners provide end-to-end networking solutions and each partner is committed to the development of technologically compatible networking solutions. Elaborating on the need for a strategic alliance, he said that all the members of the alliance are experts in their specific areas and together they are able to provide value added services to the customers.



"Together the partners help each other in R&D work and also in marketing different products of each other suiting different requirements," he added. Prasad also informed that the company is planning to expand its Indian operations by opening an office in Chennai shortly. He said that the company has been focusing on the Chinese, Korean and the Indian markets as part of its Asia-Pacific strategy which it considers to be a market with great potential.
