Ozonetel joins hands with Startup Weekend

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Ozonetel Systems, a cloud telephony company based in India, on Monday announced that it has associated with Startup Weekend, an NGO, to enable startups and enterprises to build their businesses on top of its innovative platform, KooKoo.

After associating with Startup Weekend in Bangalore where it announced more than Rs.60000 worth of KooKoo credits to startups building on the KooKoo platform, Ozonetel proposed and helped Startup Weekend to come to Hyderabad.

In this regard, the first Startup Weekend in Hyderabad will be held from September 2 to 4, 2011, at the Indian School of Business (ISB) campus in Hyderabad. The event will feature over 100 budding entrepreneurs, an array of eminent mentors such as Sharlin Thayil, CEO, Bharthi Airtel AP Circle, and well-known VCs and Angels including Raghu Batta of Ojas Ventures.

According to CSN Murthy Founder and CEO, Ozonetel Systems, “Initiatives such as ‘Startup Weekend’ serve as a valuable platform for development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Startup Weekend is a great way for budding entrepreneurs to get together and build the foundations for great businesses over a Weekend,”
