Ovum strengthens IT, telecom research teams

LONDON, UK: Global advisory and consulting firm Ovum announced today that it has strengthened its research teams in IT and telecom by hiring global experts in this field.

The new members in the IT research team include Eamonn Kennedy, as practice leader for IT Services research, Dr Alexander Simkin, senior analyst in the IT Services practice, said a press release.

“Ovum continues to invest in our IT research capabilities worldwide, to support both our enterprise CIO and supplier customers,” said Ovum SVP for IT research, David Mitchell.

The experts who join the telecom research team are Mark Little, principal analyst; Jonathan Doran, principal analyst; Emeka Obiodu, senior analyst; Mike Sapien, principal analyst based in North America; William Lee, analyst based in South Korea, and Charlie Davies, senior analyst.

“These new hires strengthen Ovum’s ability to provide world class telecom research... These appointments bring greater depth to our talented team of analysts and demonstrate our commitment to strengthening our telecom team globally,” said Ovum’s SVP of Telecoms, Brett Azuma.
