Orise , Sitronix expect higher Q2 revenues

TAIPEI: Small-size LCD driver IC makers which include Orise Technology and Sitronix, are anticipated to see their revenues grow to some extent in the second quarter in comparison to the earlier quarter given rigid supply in the market,.

Orise has noticed net profits increase 61.9 per cent on quarter to NT$100 million (US$3.18 million) for the first quarter, which changed into an EPS of NT$0.74. Gross margin for the first quarter stood at 20.5 per cent.

Sources added, besides small-size LCD driver ICs, Orise is in addition anticipated to see its shipments of large-size time controllers (T-CON) start gaining impetus in the second quarter.

Orise has said it plans giving out dividends of NT$1.9 in cash for the year 2009.

Sources further added, shipments of LCD driver ICs are anticipated to account for more than 30 per cent of Sitronix' total revenues in the year 2010.
