Oracle's App Server to offer support for new standards

BANGALORE: Oracle's Application Server 10g will now ship with support for a number of new standards other than its support for J2EE, enterprise portals, business intelligence and integration etc. Said an online report.

The new standards include support for HIPAA in health care, the computer and electronics industry's RosettaNet, and EDIINT-AS2 in the consumer products industry. According to Oracle Sever Technologies senior vice president Thomas Kurian, this support for newer standards should reduce compliance costs and help its customers to maintain relationships with a wide range of trading partners. It will also help organizations to improve overall integration by providing a single B2B Integration platform.
