Oracle President to visit India in July

BANGALORE: Oracle India announced that Charles E. Phillips, Jr., President, Oracle Corporation, will visit India on July 22



and 23, 2004. Mr. Phillips, who is a member of Oracle's Board of Directors, will meet Oracle's Indian customers and partners at Mumbai and Bangalore.



During his first visit to India as Oracle's President, Mr. Phillips will address Indian business leaders on corporate performance management and adherence to corporate governance in a special forum at Mumbai.



Mr. Phillips serves on Oracle's Executive Management Committee, and is responsible for field operations and customer-facing activities, including consulting, marketing, partners and sales, as well as corporate strategy and business development.



Prior to joining Oracle in 2003, Mr. Phillips was with Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities Division for nine years. He has been analyzing the enterprise software industry since 1986, and has been ranked the number one enterprise software industry analyst by Institutional Investor magazine each year since 1994.
