Oracle announces iDevelop2001 seminar

MUMBAI: In its ongoing commitment to keep Indian developers abreast of

emerging Internet technology, Oracle Corp., provider of software for e-business,

has announced the kick off of the iDevelop2001 seminar series.

iDevelop2001 seminars provide an instructor-led complement to the online

learning and tools already available on the Oracle Technology Network and aim to

equip the developer community with the inside track to the latest development

and technology trends including Java, eXtensible Markup Language (XML), Web

services, portals and wireless. Led by senior executives from Oracle global

headquarters in Redwood Shores, iDevelop2001 seminar series closely follow the

launch of Oracle9i database -- software that revolutionizes the economics of

Internet computing.

Internet developers, system architects and database administrators attending

iDevelop2001 seminars will have the opportunity to build upon and extend their

skills. They will also have access to the latest Oracle software, including
