SAN JOSE, USA: The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advancing SystemC as an industry standard language for electronic system-level design, has launched a new Web site for the SystemC community.
Featuring fresh technical content, a range of free downloads, links to the activities of worldwide SystemC user groups, and user-friendly navigation, the new site furthers the organization's goal of making the worldwide SystemC community more vibrant, connected, and well informed.
According to OSCI President, Mike Meredith, the new site will serve to strengthen ties and further open the lines of communication between all members of the SystemC community, while providing detailed technical and educational information for those interested in learning more about SystemC. "A primary responsibility of OSCI is to develop consensus within the SystemC community and to foster a healthy industry ecosystem," said Meredith. "We now have a modern, interactive website that will bring forth the best that the community has to offer in SystemC collaboration and advancement."
OSCI membership has risen 30 percent in the past year, and user groups in North America, Europe, Asia/Japan, South America, and India are thriving according to the group's recent survey, SystemC Users Group Survey Data Trends Report, April 2007, available on the Web site.
