HYDERBAD, INDIA: Yureeka Internet Services has announced their latest product for online preparation of Income Tax Returns, in line with government's strategy to automate income tax filing.

Yureeka Taxes uses a simple step-by-step question-and-answer format to collect data from a user, calculate the tax payable or refundable, and create a completed Income Tax Return ready for filing, all for free.

The completed return can be printed, signed, and submitted to the Income Tax Department, the company said in a release.

The application provides accurate computations based on the latest tax laws and validated by certified accountants. Full support is available for the newly-released Income Tax Forms ITR-1, ITR-2, and ITR-3 for Assessment Year 2007-08.

Users can complete their returns within 30 minutes, from their computer, and without the need for expert advice. Online contextual help guides the user through each step in the preparation process.

A knowledge base of tax topics and frequently-asked-questions can be searched by keywords. Users can navigate back and forth among various sections to update their data. Most conveniently, the data provided by the user is saved in each step, allowing a user to pause and continue at their leisure and over any number of days.

Yureeka Taxes uses digital certificates to secure private information, and an authentication process based on user credentials.

The steps in preparing a return include: Collecting income-related documents; Creating user account at www.yureeka.com; fill in the online forms for user details, income, deductions, taxes pre-paid and refund information; print, sign and file the completed return.
