Online registration for Redmi Note 3G starts today

Mi India has launched Redmi Note a 5.5-inch smartphone and comes in a 4G version and a dual SIM 3G variant.

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Xiaomi launched Redmi Note in India. The 3G dual SIM and 4G versions of the 5.5-inch smartphone will be available at a price point of Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively.

The 3G version of Redmi Note sale will start at 2 pm on December 2, 2014. Registration is beginning on Flipkart today at 6pm.

Redmi Note 4G will be available in select Airtel stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai by end-December. Online registration will start in mid-December.

Both the smartphones feature 5.5-inch HD (720x1280-pixel) IPS LCD displays with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Redmi Note also features 13-megapixel rear camera, and 5-megapixel front camera.

The 4G device is a dual band LTE phone which will work on both TDD-2300 MHz and FDD-1800 Mhz 4G frequency bands. The 3G version packs a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor, while the Redmi Note 4G runs on a quad-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Both the devices come with 8GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for expansion.
