Mercury is a powerful, white-labeled Online Backup software system with features and functionality designed to compete with the most well-known consumer grade online backup services being sold today. It is being offered as a turnkey solution to companies who want to enter the booming Online Backup market.

"We have been quietly perfecting Mercury for about 18 months," explained Rob Cosgrove, president and founder of Remote Backup Systems, "It is a completely new product, designed for a different type of user (home and personal users) than our industry-defining RBackup Remote Backup software."

Completely brandable and localizable, Mercury is multi-lingual, extremely configurable, and designed specifically for use by MSPs as the foundation software for their Online Backup businesses.

"We timed this announcement to coincide with a roll-out by one of our customers," said Cosgrove, "BackUPMAX.com went online today, with their Personal Edition powered by Mercury, and their Business Edition powered by RBackup. We wish them great success."

Mercury starts at about US$50,000 plus customization, installation, and other fees. It runs on Windows 2003 Server and uses Oracle 11g as a back-end.
