NEW DELHI: OneSource Information Services is targeting Indian companies to include them in the global information database of the company.

OneSource Information Services is the market leader in the high-end business information segment. A division of infoUSA, it is focused on delivering unparalleled breadth and depth of company information to business professionals.

Paul Brown, vice-president, Europe and Asia Pacific OneSource, said that they are targeting more Indian companies as most of the companies worldwide are eying the Indian business.

OneSource had also set up their office in New Delhi recently to include them under their information umbrella. Presently there are 26,000 Indian companies, which are their customers. Of the total 9,000 are public and 17,000 are private companies. The company's customers include ICICI Bank, E&Y, Ranbaxy, NIIT, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, HP, MCI, Motorola and PWC among others.

“After we had set up our office in India, our customer base has doubled in the last one year. We are expecting huge business in the next couple of months as most of the companies are seeking global presence through our information services,” Brown said. He said that the Indian market is growing and there are good business opportunities, which have forced them to set up the office in India.

“The next 20 years is the age of information and it is found that there is demand for information here. Our job is to act on behalf of the knowledge thirsty business professionals who seek for all relevant information about companies, industries and executives. It is matchmaking of business enterprises, which is profitable for both or several partners. We have an application which helps our customers to find out the 100 best companies of the world through a single click of the mouse,” he added.

Country Manager Info USA (parent organisation of OneSource), K.K.S. Jamwal said that there are 3,00,000 users of the OneSource information service. He said that number of Indian companies have been able to make their global presence after registering themselves with OneSource. “No other information service can place world-class business data at the fingertips of professionals in sales, marketing, finance and consulting. Our customers can find authentic information about companies after they log on to our information service website,” Jamwal said.

OneSource offers integrated business information on companies around the world, covering 1.8 million in depth, with an additional 13 million listings of small US and Canadian companies, 1.5 million UK company listings, and a total of over 7 million key executive contacts.
