OnePlus 5 now available offline in Croma stores

OnePlus 5 will be getting face unlock feature

In order to expand its reach in the offline market, Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has partnered with Croma stores for the sale of its smartphones and accessories. Initially, OnePlus 5 will be available at 10 major outlets in cities like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Pune.

"India is a very important market for us. While we have seen immense success selling online, there is still an audience that wants to touch and feel the phone before buying it," OnePlus India, General Manager, Vikas Agarwal told PTI. OnePlus launched its first offline experience center in Bangalore in January this year.

Additionally, the company will also be offering free Bullets V2 earphones and a flip cover to the customers who buy OnePlus 5 from Croma retail stores. For existing OnePlus 5 users, the company is offering a free Flip Cover available only if the customer visit Croma Retail store.

OnePlus 5 starts at Rs 32,999 in India. There are two variants of the phone based on the storage capacity- the 6GB RAM + 64GB costs Rs 32,999 while the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 37,999. The smartphone is available in three color models-  Soft Gold, Slate Gray, and Midnight Black.
