Omnitech plans four DR management sites in India

MUMBAI, INDIA: Omnitech InfoSolutions Ltd, a provider in business availability and business continuity solutions, today announced its expansion plans to further strengthen its presence in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning across domestic and overseas market.

The company aims to launch 4 Disaster Recovery Management Sites in India and few DR sites in the international location by investing Rs. 90-100 crore in next three years, said a press release.

The regions identified for DR sites in India include Bangalore, Chennai, NCR and Pune.

In extension to its organic expansion plans, Omnitech also announced its overseas strategic alliance with Rogers Group Co - Enterprise Information Systems Ltd, a Mauritius-based company, specializing in offering range of IT-enabled solutions, business consulting and outsourcing services.

Through this alliance, Omnitech would offer Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity services to Mauritius and African market. The alliance would also help the company to offer its global clientele with Mauritius as a disaster recovery site destination.

The contribution of DR-BCP offering for FY 2009-10 has been 15 percent to the overall revenues of the company. On an organic growth front, Omnitech aims to grow 30-35 per cent in FY 11, out of which 17-18 per cent revenues will be contributed through DR-BCP offering.
