HYDERABAD: Oasis Infotech Ltd. of Hyderabad and the Center for Organization

Development have entered into a strategic alliance to offer specialized

management development programs to the corporate sector in the areas of HR,

organizational behavior and organization development. The alliance will enable

COD to use Oasis’ eLearning framework to provide content over the Internet to

remote corporate customers. In this joint eLearning initiative, Oasis would

provide the technical backbone and COD, its management educational content.

With offices in USA and Bangalore and Mumbai in India, Oasis provides

high-end solutions for eLearning, banking, multimedia and e-business. "We

are hopeful of starting the program in about 20 days time. Initially, we will

offer 30 courses through our integrated eLearning framework," said Vijay

Anand, Director Operations, Oasis Infotech Ltd.

"IDC estimates put the corporate learning market at $11.4 billion by the

year 2003 and India and China are the hot destinations for the eLearning

business. Last year, we did revenues of Rs 1.8 crore, and this year we expect to

generate Rs 3 crore. We target a 200 per cent growth in our turnover from this

year, of which 40 per cent would come from eLearning," he explained.
