The app turns any iPhone into a fully functioning mobile karaoke machine which allows the singer to play, sing along to, and record renditions of their favorite songs as well as play back their recordings and those of other members.

Trevor McGuire, CEO and President of SingSnap says, "Our community has been patiently waiting for this app for a very long time, and we are very pleased with what we have been able to offer. We didn't want to rush an inferior product to market as our members expect quality recording capabilities, and we have worked very hard to provide that." He adds, "We are already developing a version optimized for the iPad and are in the planning stages of an Android version to round out the digital karaoke experience."

The application fully integrates with SingSnap's online community where members can interact and share their recordings with the world. "This is what makes our karaoke app unique," says SingSnap CTO Jason Copp. "The ability to not only sing along to songs, but to record and play back recordings as well as interact with other members through private messaging, comments and forums. It really gives our members an all-around karaoke community that they've come to expect with SingSnap."

Singers can also purchase a gold membership that increases the number of available songs as well as provides additional features such as split screen video duets, audio enhancements and access to the semi-private forums. The app is rich with features both on the standard and paid memberships. Members can send private messages to one another, comment on songs they listen to, interact in the forums, join contests and get support from SingSnap staff.
