NEW DELHI, INDIA: The Government of India’s Digital India initiative has opened a plethora of opportunities for those who want to work from home.

As a part of Digitize India Platform (DIP), the GoI is searching citizens or digital contributors to digitize manual records, and transform the country into a knowledge driven economy.

How can you contribute?

All that is required of you is a basic computer literacy, and Aadhar number, a bank account linked to your Aadhar number, access to the Internet and access to any smart device. You can register here.

What is DIP?

DIP is an initiative of the Government of India under the Digital India Program to provide digitization services for scanned document images or physical documents for any organization.

The aim is to digitize and make usable all the existing content in different formats and media, languages and create data extracts for document management, IT applications and records management.

DIP provides an innovative solution by combining machine intelligence and a cost effective crowd sourcing model. It features a secure and automated platform for processing and extracting relevant data from document images in a format that is usable for meta-data tagging, IT application processing and analysis.
