Novus selling Presence line of UC headsets by Sennheiser

FAIRFIELD, USA: Novus LLC, a boutique telecommunications and IP distributor, has begun selling the Presence line of UC headsets by Sennheiser, a global leader in audio engineering and sound quality.

The Presence series encompasses two premium Bluetooth headsets for mobile professionals, the Presence UC (for Unified Communications) and Presence UC ML (for Microsoft Lync). The UC line is fully compatible with all leading UC platforms, and are designed for multi-connectivity, meaning they can switch easily between softphone and mobile calls.

The Presence UC ML has those capabilities and is optimized for the Microsoft Lync UC platform.

Both models, which more resemble earpieces than traditional headsets, are the result of years of engineering work. They use three digital microphones and "SpeakFocus" technology, which detects a user's voice while filtering out background noise, and Sennheiser's "WindSafe" technology, which reduces ambient wind noise in outdoor environments.

Pairing the earpiece with a smartphone is couldn't be easier. Users simply hold down the S button on the earpiece and scan the smartphone for the device.

The Presence line has been designed from the ground up for mobile professionals who require UC capabilities. Each headset is paired with a USB dongle for easy plug-and-play switching from smartphones to computer.

The headsets feature 10-hour talk time, a range of more than 80 feet, and voice prompt capability.
