Nous achieves Maturity Level 5 rating

BANGALORE: Nous Infosystems has achieved Maturity Level 5 rating on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), - SW/IPPD, v 1.1, Staged Representation.

The assessment was based on SEI's CMMI Standard CMMI Appraisal for Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI Class A).

This achievement makes NOUS join the elite brand of fewer than 210 organizations worldwide that have achieved this benchmark as per recent published and available SEI data.

Ajith Pillai, president and CEO of Nous while expressing happiness over the achievement, said, “This ensures, not only an improvement in our deliverables to our customers, but also our ability to stand tall as an organization that believes in learning and growing continuously. According to Kris Puthucode of SQC, who assessed the organization, “NOUS is an organization with a strong motivation to achieve excellence in quality. Particularly laudable among them is the ability to use the CMMI model and its practices effectively to suit the organization's projects, and institutionalization of best practices from CMMI, and concepts from the integrated software development practices which focuses on Integrated Teams cohesive and “well-gelled” teams developing software. Very few organizations implement and take advantage of the Integrated teaming concepts which ensures that inter group coordination and multi disciplinary teams function cohesively within the Organization, thus reducing the inter team and intra team conflicts ultimately resulting in better customer satisfaction”
