Nothing Ear 1 TWS comes to Flipkart for INR 5,999 on July 27

Carl Pei left OnePlus in 2020 to pursue a new venture – Nothing. The venture, aimed at creating consumer tech, announced that it has several audio products in its goodie bag. In fact, it announced its first product - Nothing Ear 1 in May 2021. Announcing the launch, Carl Pei, Founder, Nothing had said that the company had come a long way since its founding in late October 2020. “We are now all set to reveal more about our very first product – Ear 1,” he had said.

Recently, the exciting consumer tech brand has also confirmed that its debut product Nothing ear 1, a state-of-the-art Active Noise Cancellation Truly Wireless Earbud launches on July 27. It uses three high definition mics to bring your music, films and podcasts into sharp focus, the company said in a statement.

The company has kept the product a top-secret for a long time. Even in previews, short films from the makes etc, it blurs the picture of the earbuds. So, all the company has announced that it aims to keep its product at a bare minimum, or essentials. It wants to create a tech to ease life without getting in the way of it. There is power in less, the company stated. But, apart from the INR 5,999 price range, availability on July 27 and partnership with Flipkart, the company has not announced any feature or specification for Nothing Ear 1. Although starting with true wireless earphones, Nothing reportedly has a wider range of products in the works. The company had, in early-2021, acquired smartphone maker Essential to further its goodie bag.

Manu Sharma, Vice President and General Manager, Nothing India says, “India is an important market for Nothing and in partnership with Flipkart, we look forward to introducing ear (1) to Indian users at the same time as our global launch.”

He added, “It is important for us to bring value to our Indian users from day one. Starting with the ear (1), our products will be uniquely designed and easy to use. Above all, they will be devices we are proud to use ourselves and recommend to our friends and family.”
