None buying stake in us: Wipro clarifies

BANGALORE: On the letter sent by the Bangalore Stock Exchange to Wipro Ltd. seeking its clarification on certain rumors in the market about the company, Wipro Ltd. has clarified that there was no such negotiation in progress with a US-based company for acquiring stake in Wipro.

The company has also said that it had not yet decided on any timeframe for an overseas listing and nor had it made or filed an application for an overseas listing with any authority. Wipro also confirms that it is business as usual at Wipro Limited.
