Nokia's 5800 XpressMusic has a defective ear

BANGALORE: Leading cellphone maker Nokia, recently launched 5800 XpressMusic, a latest XpressMusic range,that delivers music device with a touch screen has been facing complains for defective speakers.

As per the media reports, A Russian tech website, Mobile Review.com review stated that the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic devices manufactured before February has been coming with defective speakers. The ones that may not be showing problems now are likely to go defective sooner or later.

“The problematic speakers and suppliers are replaced by the company both in production and warehouses. Nokia at present is using speakers from the new suppliers at their manufacturing plants and from the service centers,” quoted Mobile review.com, a spokesperson from Nokia as saying.

The service centers started receiving new speakers during last decade of January, thus inclining that the users who have replaced the speakers since that time would not face the problem.

So far, there are no official conformation about the Indian shipments of 5800 XpressMusic getting affected, said the media reports.
