Nokia wins $15 m US deal

HELSINKI: Nokia has won a $15 million order from i wireless in the United States to expand its mobile GPRS network, the Finnish telecoms equipment maker said on Thursday.

Nokia has been the sole GSM supplier to i wireless -- a partnership between T-Mobile USA, part of Deutsche Telekom's mobile subsidiary, and Iowa Network Services -- since 1998, Nokia said in a statement.
