Nokia Ovi Store is now Nokia Store

BANGALORE, INDIA: To keep in line with the new rebranding structure, Nokia announced in May, Ovi Store will be changing its name to Nokia Store.

The release further added that, Nokia store is now available in more than 190 countries with 9 million downloads per day globally and 8 million downloads a week in India.

India is amongst the top three markets for application download from the Nokia Store with 80 per cent of Nokia Store traffic converting into download and 85 per cent of the signed-in users being repeat visitors, it is easily one of the most promising stores for developers and consumers, added the release.

The Store has more than 400,000 new developers joining Forum Nokia in the past 12 months and over 200,000 Forum Nokia developers in India, thus accounting for the single largest concentration from any country.
