Nokia to launch Windows 8 tablet?

BANGALORE, INDIA: After the launch of Windows 8, Microsoft is now tying up with Nokia to launch a tablet this year.

According to DigiTimes, Nokia is developing a 10-inch Windows 8 tablet featuring a dual core Qualcomm platform. 

Nokia is expected to outsource production of the tablets to Compal Electronics.

If the rumours come true, the tablet might help Nokia tide over its bad times as it has been struggling to revive its business amidst competition from Apple and Samsung, especially in the smartphone sector.

Recently, Nokia launched launched a new Windows smartpone with an unprecedented 41-megapixel camera.
