Nokia 2 finally arrives in India priced at Rs 6,999

HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has announced that Nokia 2 will be available across mobile retail stores in the country for Rs 6,999 from November 24, 2017.

Nokia 2 comes with two-day battery and combines a Qualcomm Snapdragon Mobile Platform and a 5-inch, high-quality display with the pure, secure and up to date Android experience.

With 4,100 mAh battery, the device with 5-inch LTPS LCD HD display offers a bright, crisp viewing experience while delivering lower power consumption. In terms of optics, there's a 5MP selfie camera and an 8MP rear camera featuring automatic scene detection and auto focus.

The Nokia 2’s sleek frame is precision-machined from a single block of aluminium, while Corning Gorilla Glass is complemented by sculpted polycarbonate on the back.

"Every component of the Nokia 2 – from the display to battery, chipset to system design – has been engineered to draw as little power as possible from the huge battery. This gives fans a long-lasting phone they can rely on. In addition, a great display and pure, secure Android means you don't have to do less with your Nokia 2 to preserve longevity," said Ajey Mehta, Vice President and Country Head - India, HMD Global.

The Nokia 2 will be available at a recommended best buy price of Rs 6,999 starting November 24. RJio customers can enjoy additional 45 GB 4G Data on Nokia 2 i.e. 5 GB additional 4G data on every recharge of Rs 309 or above, limited to 9 recharges till August 31, 2018.

All Nokia 2 users will also be eligible for a complimentary 12-month Accidental Damage Insurance by Servify on opening the Kotak 811 savings account and activating it with an initial deposit of Rs 1,000 in the introductory period.
