R Chandrashekhar, chairman of the Telecom Commission and secretary, MCIT, told reporters that they have not reached any final decision. The commission will meet again on December 1 and discuss the recommendations, he added.

The commission has reportedly received the recommendations from the DoT panel that rejected proposals pertaining to change in roll out obligations, reducing licence fee to 6 per cent and relaxing M&A conditions.

The panel has accepted the TRAI's recommendation to fix Rs 4,571 crore per Mhz for all spectrum bands beyond 6.2 Mhz. It also proposed that the one-time fee will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
