Nissan parks happily with 0.37 CTR in rich media spots

BOSTON, USA: Nissan North America and its partner agency, The Marketing Store Worldwide, teamed up with Moontoast, a Social Rich Media advertising platform, to reach outstanding numbers through Social Rich Media in their largest service promotional marketing event of the year.

As an announcement explains: The "Keep Summer Rolling" service promotion, going on at Nissan dealerships in the United States, gives Nissan owners a chance to win one of three Nissan vehicles and "instant win" service offerings. Moontoast worked with Nissan and The Marketing Store Worldwide to create Social Rich Media Ad Units through the Moontoast platform. The Moontoast units promoted the campaign and drive interest among Nissan's 6.5 million fans on their social networks.

The Moontoast interactive ad units for the "Keep Summer Rolling" promotion incorporated engaging videos, image galleries, and a countdown linking to the event launch site. Below are some of the success highlights:

Nissan apparently saw a 0.37 per cent Click Through Rate using Moontoast's Social Rich Media, which skyrockets over the industry average for Rich Media of 0.14 per cent, according to MediaMind. On the date of the launch, August 1, 2013, Nissan had approximately 1,000 customers waiting to enter the sweeps.

Overall, the "Keep Summer Rolling" promotion has driven more than $100 million in business for its dealerships. "We decided to partner with Moontoast because of their innovative Social Rich Media Platform.
