HYDERABAD: The National Institute for Smart Government is considering opening an office in New Delhi.
The organization plans to station 10-12 senior managerial level officials at its office in the national capital.
"We want to have a presence in Delhi as much of the work is being done from there. What we have is a small office. We want to have an office on our own land," said J Satyanarayana, chief executive officer, NISG.
Program for Union Cabinet: NISG is also planning to hold a two-day program on e-governance for the members of the Union Cabinet. It has already submitted a proposal to the Union government.
"We are awaiting approval. The program would aim at providing knowledge on e-governance," said Satyanarayana.
NISG was incorporated in 2002 has its headquarters in Hyderabad. The company became fully operational in 2004.
