Though the Nintendo's E3 presentation was a pre-recorded stream, it announced many exciting updates for the Nintendo games and launch dates for new games on the way.

Super Mario Odyssey

Nintendo has launched a new update for Super Mario Odyssey which is set outside the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario travels to a whole bunch of new locations, including green forests, deserts, mountains and its New York-inspired city New Donk city.

While Mario will continue to sport his immediately recognizable red and blue jumper, he will also don a few new costumes. One of the biggest surprises is the presence of a giant dinosaur, so there's no limit to what you can expect from the game.

Super Mario Odyssey will release on October 27 on the Nintendo Switch console.

Rocket League, Psyonix's successful soc-car game is now on the way to be launched with Nintendo Switch, the company announced during its E3 conference. The Switch version is scheduled to be launched this holiday season with customized Nintendo items like Mario and Luigi hats for cars.

Rocket Leagues supports cross-play across each console and PC. The same feature would be available on the Switch, PC and Xbox-not PS4.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Nintendo kicked off its presentation with launching the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with a new trailer. The two protagonists are teenagers who will encounter different enemies during their long journey. Xenoblade Chronicles2 will release in mid2017 for the Switch.

Fire Emblem Warriors

Fire Emblem Warriors releasing sometime in the autumn puts you in control of multiple characters including original duo Lian and Zion. Other characters will also show up Fire Emblem games-Awakening's Chrom, Shadow Dragon's Prince of Altea Marth and three from Fates: Ryoma, Xander and Corrin.

Nintendo also announced that a new Pokemon RPG and Metadroid4 are in development. Pokemon's Tsunekazu Ishihara said it's in early stages, and not to expect it to release until next year. The sci-fi exploration game Metadroid4 which also got an announcement featured only a logo and is expected to release by 2018.
