NIIT to offer Unicenter training

BANGALORE, September 8: NIIT Ltd. and Computer Associates (CA) India

have entered into a strategic training partnership to impart high-end

training on implementation of Unicenter TNG to software professionals.

CA has been looking for a partner to train developers and promote a

development team around its solutions. The venture is to enable India to

cash in on the huge demand for CA solutions implementation and developers.

NIIT is looking at a training base of around 2000 professionals in the

first year. In the US and some Asian countries, NIIT already provides

training in Unicenter TNG.

CA's flagship Unicenter TNG, the enterprise management software, is

being used by over 10,000 clients worldwide. According to the company, it

has gained wide acceptance in the Indian market too and is being used by

leading organizations. The NIIT-CA relationship would build on the

feedback from NIIT's Unicenter training in the US and Asia since the two

organizations partnered to create training material on Unicenter TNG in

May 1998. Other CA training partners worldwide is using NIIT’s course

material as the official curriculum.

As a strategic training partner of CA, NIIT will market CA training to

organizations and individuals. The programme is aimed at network, database

and systems administrators and also those responsible for designing robust

networks.
