BANGALORE, INDIA: National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (under the Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY)) and Wheebox.Com, International Talent Assessment Company, have launched the NIELIT Web Portal that will provide an online assessment test on English and Cognitive abilities for all candidates pursuing O, A and B Level Courses from NIELIT.
The portal was launched by Kapil Sibal, Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology. Sibal said, "the sustainable efforts of NIELIT would help in eliminating digital illiteracy."
He emphasized on the need for having high quality e-content to be made accessible to the NIELIT students and called for the greater use of innovation and technology in student support services. The web portal is accessible through www.nielit.in.
As Dr. Ashwini Kumar Sharma, managing director, NIELIT says, "The web portal has a multitude of online services, which are dynamic, interactive, and user friendly."
