NGOs to get free typing software

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Bytes of Learning Incorporated and Nasscom Foundation have partnered to offer the former’s UltraKey typing instruction software to non-profit groups and community organizations.

With the offer Bytes of Learning becomes the second donor under the BiG Tech program.

Microsoft had earlier distributed free software worth $33,1472 for program to various non-profit groups in India.

The UltraKey software provides keyboarding instruction with the most teacher-friendly management tools to enable users to quickly improve their typing as well as overall communication skills.

BiG Tech assists non-governmental organizations and charities by offering access to the free software, hardware and other philanthropic donation programs of donor partners.

“As a corporate donor to the program, we are privileged to have the opportunity to fulfill our social responsibilities by offering the UltraKey 5.0 software to the less fortunate, who will immensely benefit from it,” said Art Willer, president, Bytes of Learning Incorporated.

“Through BiG Tech, Bytes of Learning will donate its software to community organizations and other nonprofit groups who rely primarily on private donations and who assist disadvantaged people of any age and walk of life,” said Rufina Fernandes, CEO, Nasscom Foundation.
