Nexeia to tap smaller towns

NEW DELHI,INDIA: Mumbai-based Nexeia Technologies Private Limited is targeting at the Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns for its location-based mobile content distribution service Cellmagix.

Nexeia has already tied-up with major retail chains and malls across the four metropolises to launch its services.

“We are almost present in all the major cities and now are targeting the emerging smaller towns as the growth is there. There is a tremendous amount of economic activity happening in these smaller towns, which is evident by a number of shopping malls and retail chains establishing their base there,” said Anil Peswani, CEO, Nexeia Technologies.

Nexeia is also planning to extend its location-based content distribution services for a WiFi zones.

Peswani told CyberMedia News that after the initial roll-out in about 100 locations, Nexeia will launch another three new mobile-based solutions and services by end of the year.  

Peswani said it gives advertiser a new medium to advertise their products. As cellular phones are quite personal to people, the product reaches its targeted audience easily.

“We want to give the content free and will raise the revenue from the advertisers. The charges are also low as Cellmagix operates on Bluetooth technology,” he said.

Cellmagix uses Bluetooth technology for communication and is customizable for different domains providing customers free mobile content like wall papers, ring tones, games, application, videos, themes, animation and movie trailers.
