New Update

MILAN & LUGANO, ITALY & ZURICH, SWITZERLAND: Since its launch on the Italian market a year ago, the first multilingual semantic aggregator of online news, developed by the Swiss start-up Newscron, has been downloaded by 10'000 users, who were able to read over 30 million articles thanks to the app.

This year, Newscron places a lot of innovative features under the users' Christmas tree. A simple upgrade of the application is needed to access the first Christmas present, which is six new categories: fashion, travel, wine&dine, health, photography and politics. The second gift is the aggregation of five hundred new sources and, finally, the speed of the application has been increased to improve users' experience.

We would like to announce to our Android users that it is still possible for them to download the Premium version of the app for free (for a limited time only), in order to test all the new features (such as removing an unwanted newspaper, using key word research and creating an even more customized news folder).

Patrick Lardi, co-founder and COO, explains: "For Christmas 2013, we wanted to give our faithful users a nice gift by perfecting our application. Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated team, our 60'000 monthly users will have access to numerous new sources and categories with the usual quality that Newscron has always provided. Our app is easy to download from the Apple Store and Google Play. Only one click is needed!" Finally, starting at the beginning of next year, it will be possible to read your news directly from the web desktop version of Newscron."
