Paras Anti Drone Technologies  a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies, has announced that France-based CERBAIR, a leading European counter-UAV company, intends to acquire up to 30 CHIMERA 200 systems—an advanced, man-portable radio frequency detection and neutralization device designed as a primary defence against drone and swarm drone threats.

Valued at approximately ₹22 crore (€2.2 million), the deal reinforces India’s position as an emerging and reliable exporter of sophisticated defence technologies. It aligns with India’s Make in India and Defence Production & Export Promotion Policy, aiming for $5 billion in annual defence exports by 2025.

CHIMERA 200: Mission-Ready, Globally Trusted

The CHIMERA 200, field-proven across critical infrastructure sites in India, offers robust and upgradeable wideband detection and neutralization capabilities. Its rapid deployment and adaptability to evolving UAV threats make it attractive to both domestic and international security agencies. CERBAIR’s prioritization of enhanced detection and customizable neutralization power reflects Europe’s growing need for advanced anti-drone systems amid rising geopolitical tensions.

The CHIMERA 200 is a world-class counter-UAS system featuring omnidirectional and directional operations, with wideband RF coverage from 400 MHz to 6 GHz across up to five simultaneous bands. Its scalable, upgradeable architecture supports precise detection of drones, remote controls, and their control points. The system’s secure API enables easy integration with command-and-control systems and weapons platforms, while its low false alarm rate ensures operational reliability.
